Workshops

WCG offers workshops on various topics, in person as well as online, for calligraphers of all levels. Please join us to refresh your skills, learn a new hand or technique, broaden your repertoire, and meet fellow calligraphy enthusiasts. 

WCG also encourages calligraphic study by offering scholarships.

    Scheduled just before Fountain Pen Day is a hands-on opportunity to learn about fountain pens! We calligraphers love our dip pens, nibs and inks, slantboards and other tools of the trade, but fountain pens make the pleasure of writing more portable.

Upcoming Programs

Programs are free for WCG members; non-members can attend for free or a small fee. The Zoom link will be emailed several days before the event. 

Programs begin at 7:30 pm ET but attendees are invited to log on at 7 pm for conversation and, if needed, assistance with technical issues.

All WCG members as well as registered nonmembers will receive a link to view a recording of that program for 30 days. 

We ask that you not share the link for live or recorded programs on social media or other outlets; they are the property of the Washington Calligraphers Guild.
