2025 Graceful Envelope Winners
In 2025 we reached the first quarter of this century — one-fourth of 100 years. Therefore, the theme of the 2025 Graceful Envelope Contest was Go Fourth. Entrants were to explore something that comes in fours, is associated with sets of four, is commonly cut into fourths, and so on. The deadline was 3/31/25. Allowing a month for delayed mail, a trio of professional calligraphers met on 4/26/25 to select the winners based on their creative interpretation of the contest theme Go Fourth, including artistic hand lettering and integration of postage stamp(s).
Judging the 2025 contest were: Becky Larimer, White House calligrapher; Jenny Nicholson, Calligrapher, Presidential Appointments, U.S. Department of State; and Lisa Hutchinson, owner of Scribble Savvy Calligraphy. They said it was difficult to choose the winners among so many excellent entries, noting, "We were delighted and inspired by the creativity, talent and hard work that went into each entry this year." WCG thanks every artist who devoted their time and talent to create a Graceful Envelope.
