The Fall 2025 issue of WCG's Scripsit magazine is the third edition of Pens & Protocol: The Calligraphy of Official Washington (the first two were in 2008 and 2016). This issue traces the evolution of White House calligraphy and production methods--after centuries of tradition--to millennial modernization under retired Chief Calligraphers Rick Paulus and Pat Blair.
 
Even older than White House calligraphy are the Founding Documents of the United States--and this Scripsit covers the trio of original engrossers who penned the Declaration of Independence, U.S. Constitution and Bill of Rights, as well as precise reproductions penned by third-generation calligrapher Holly Monroe.
 
Concluding the 36-page Scripsit are unique commissions by Rosemary Buczek, Tamara Stoneburner and Joanne Wasserman. WCG members receive this issue as a benefit of membership.
