Letterforum 1995, the 15th Assembly of Lettering Artists, was held at St. Mary’s College in southern Maryland (Director: Judy Hoyle). Because of its location on the Chesapeake Bay, we dubbed it The Great Escape. Scripsit covering this event included gallery art, the keynote address by Prof. Hermann Zapf and articles by Alan Blackman, Ieuan Rees, Sheila Waters and Gudrun Zapf von Hesse.
