About the event

Hand Embossing is a subtle way to add an image, letter, or text to a page. Carol's method uses very basic tools. She will share a wide variety of examples and projects, demonstrate the technique and describe the many ways to incorporate this new skill into your creative toolkit. Those attending will be given access to Carol's PDF of exemplars that includes a supply list and simple stencils to cut.
Carol DuBosch, a WCG member based in Portland, OR, has been teaching calligraphy and related arts in workshops around the country for 40 years. Anyone who read WCG's Spring 2025 Graceful Envelope Scripsit, in which Carol explained how she approached five years of Graceful Envelope Contest entries, knows how generously she shares her knowledge. An excellent instructor and delightful person, we are sure to enjoy learning from Carol how she enhances her work with Hand Embossing.
