WCG Annual Meeting & Election

We are happy to announce that this will be our first hybrid annual meeting, so if you cannot come in person you are welcome to attend and vote virtually.

The elected position which is open this year is Vice President, and normally we would announce candidates in this email. However the Nominating Committee has not identified anyone who is able to serve at this time; so if you are interested or know of a suitable member, please step forward.

WCG President Elissa Krieg is hopeful that the Vice President will be a partner in strategic planning based on the recent member survey. Aside from that, the VP attends all Board meetings and assists with other tasks or projects as needed.

The venue, the Concord-St. Andrew's Church, is also the location of WCG's library. Our Librarian Lucinda Wright will open the library for perusal of our vast collection (but books cannot be checked out right now).

There will be several special tables with various delights:

• Show & Tell Table: Bring and display your recent calligraphy work, with your name and notes.
• Browsing Table: We will have some publications from other guilds available to look through.
• Snack Table: Please bring a sweet or savory snack to share! A label with ingredients is optional but thoughtful.

During the 5 pm business meeting nominations will be taken from the floor and online for each position. The current officers are willing to serve another year except for the Vice President, so please consider volunteering:
