The Fall 2025 issue of WCG's Scripsit magazine is the third edition of Pens & Protocol: The Calligraphy of Official Washington (the first two were in 2008 and 2016). This issue traces the evolution of White House calligraphy and production methods--after centuries of tradition--to millennial modernization under retired Chief Calligraphers Rick Paulus and Pat Blair.
 
Even older than White House calligraphy are the Founding Documents of the United States--and this Scripsit covers the trio of original engrossers who penned the Declaration of Independence, U.S. Constitution and Bill of Rights, as well as precise reproductions penned by Holly Monroe.
 
Concluding the 36-page Scripsit are unique commissions by Rosemary Buczek, Tamara Stoneburner and Joanne Wasserman.
