MINI-WORKSHOPS

Based on the "Breakouts" that Legacies introduced last summer, LETTERFORUM MINIs are 90-minute mini-classes where you can try a new lettering style, sample a new technique or test a new tool with skilled and knowledgeable instructors. The MINIs place on Saturday afternoon 7/22 at 2 and 4 pm, and on Tuesday 7/25 at 2, 4 and 7:30 pm. Each MINI costs $25.

You can still register for the workshops below by mailing your $25 payment before 7/15, which also is when any waiting lists expire. During the conference, any Mini-Workshops that are still available will be posted at the door of the Letterforum office in Taylor Hall, and you will be able to register there only on Saturday and Tuesday, 12:30-1:30.

Seats still are available in the following Mini-Workshops:

Saturday, July 22:

  • 2:00 – 3:30 - Pastel Dust
  • 4:00 – 5:30 - Alphabet Book and Other Shapes

SERENDIPITIES

Serendipity means "discovery of things not sought."
Come visit serendipity night -- following the evening programs on Sunday and Wednesday -- and see fellow participants demonstrate a painting technique or new lettering style, showcase a craft or a new tool. You're sure to discover new ideas and interests. Bring your notebook, camera and curiosity!

If you would like to be a demonstrator at Serendipity, email [email protected] with your name and topic. Or visit the Letterforum office to sign up for either Sunday or Wednesday night.
