PDF stands for Portable Document Format, and if you have a .pdf file then your computer can display it. It was designed to work on all platforms.
The excuse "I can't read PDFs on my computer" is transparent laziness. Everything reads PDFs, by design.
Simply double click the file — Apple built this right into the operating system. No extra software is needed.
Try double-clicking the PDF file, if it works – you're done.
If it's a fresh version of Windows, you'll want to download Acrobat Reader. This is a free version. Simply download the file, run it, and you can then read PDFs.
